Synopsis  After fleeing from their birthplace inside the Lich kingdoms of Necromundis the Merentah have built a dynasty in the merchant city of Modona. Situated in the heart of the Eternal empire they live while keeping a lid on their origins in order to dodge the inquisition, constantly on the hunt for mages and non-believers.  Ulysse is a young man born among the Merentahs, unable to channel he seeks answers and solution but finds only secrets that should not be revealed. He will need to come to grips with his family’s secrets, find a new goal, and grow as a person if he wants to reach it.  What to expect  A story of growth, from child to adult, from weak to competent. Slow burn. There will be dozens of recurring characters thorough the first book, each with their own quirks and goals.  Updates  One to Two chapters a week. Warnings I’m not a native English speaker, and this is my first ever try at writing, don’t be indulgent, and tell me if I mess something up! The Violence, and Sensitive content tags are not there to look pretty. There will be some disturbing themes such as body-horror.(which you might have guessed from "A legacy of flesh")
