Synopsis
Apparently, I agreed to this.
Memory suppressing technology is tricky. Hard to know what to believe. Still, I remember signing on the dotted line, and if what the bot in the suit said was true, this is my ticket out of prison.
After all, playing a virtual reality game isn't the worst way to earn early parole.
How hard can it be? Of course, I have no way of knowing who is real and who isn't. There's no limits on pain for me, and my memory suppression is dialed up to 11. Instead of just not thinking about the outside world until I need to log off (which I can't do anyway), I can't even remember who I used to be.
Wait...why did I sign up for this again?
