Sauvre and Allyson were sitting at the same table they had ordered, two drinks on either side of them completely ignored having been brought in moments earlier by a woman who worked there, they were discussing in signs that no one but themselves could understand.
"Well ... how will we manage to take care of their leader without the rest getting in the way?" Sauvre started using the signs too to prevent anyone from listening to them, after all planning out loud what they were going to do right there was not the smartest idea.
"I don’t know. We have to act fast and do something to dissuade the rest from acting on behalf of that man. I felt a lot of fear in their voices, I know that they do not do it for pleasure but for obligation, but even so his opinion is respected and his orders heard and obeyed." The young assassin had calmed down after a short break and now with a clearer mind she had to think of some way to help those innocent people.
"The easy thing would be to simply wait for them to leave, follow their leader and ... problem solved. But you will not accept that, will you?" The veteran crow smiled, knowing perfectly well what his apprentice's response would be.
The girl denied, because it was clear that if they murdered in silence and in another situation to that man they would only make him a martyr, and with some bad luck someone else could emerge who really has been more convinced of his ideals, and there they would have no choice but to kill them all as rebels, that was their obligation to the kingdom.
But there was a way of acting that could allow the escape of civilians and only the dead of the man who led them, a particular plan that would serve for everything they wanted to achieve, something that the veteran Sauvre had come up with.
"There is something we can do." The man continued with that smile that now took a picaresque tone, he had found a fun plan to execute.
"What did you come up with?" The girl asked with speed, always using those signs to speak because she had no other method of communicating. Lys on the other hand was nervous and anxious, fearing that no matter how much they think she would end up witnessing the murder of a dozen innocents, fearing that only because of her, everything could go complete wrong and have horrible repercussions. What could be said, the girl was depressed.
"Complicated and simple at the same time. We must enter that meeting right now." He said with his own voice this time, rising instantly from the table, his face lost that smile and returned to the severe and cold expression of a trained assassin.
"Do not worry, it's a good idea. You just follow me and try to look more ... evil." Disconcerted and not understanding what kind of idea had occurred to Sauvre, the young woman decided to trust anyway and followed him.
"Hey you, big guy, the meeting is over, you can stop watching the door." Without any fear of being discovered, the veteran crow approached that large man and lied to him as if it were the most natural thing in the world for him.
The giant shook a bit from his chair as he reacted, had fallen asleep, let out a loud yawn and then looked at Sauvre with a less than friendly face.
"Hey you, what are you-" The bartender shouted from the bar when he saw them approach the giant, but Sauvre turned and looked at the man with a penetrating gaze, a look that made it clear that a single word more of him would only advance the end of his days by a lot. The bartender closed his mouth in fear, moving backwards and beginning to act like he hadn’t seen anything, washing some beer mugs.
"Oh? Finished? But... you weren’t inside ... and if it finished ... How did they come out?" With a serious and extremely sleepy tone that large man asked the two assassins that were in front of him, without even taking the effort to stand up, even sat down he was already as high as both of them.
"Do you see this girl here? She is going to kill your boss. Do you understand? She told me she's here to kill them all, she's forcing me to lie to you." His expression changed to one of fear acting as he approached the giant to mention those words in a lower and subtle tone, he knew well that even so his companion was going to hear those words, it was all part of his plan.
Now the giant began to rise with an angry face, believing the words of the veteran crow and looking down at what looked to him as a simple meddlesome fly.
"You will not do anything to the boss" The girl was really scared to have such a brute in front of her, in a close fight it was clear that her chances were very low against a mass of muscles like him. However, everything was thought and meditated by the best assassin the crows had, if he was really good at something, it was to improvise any kind of plan that might occurred to him.
While the giant began to go towards Lys, she started to retreat before the imposing size of the man, fearing the worst. At that moment a gigantic gust of wind began to enter through the main door, sticking to the walls on each side to generate an enveloping effect.
It was there that Lys realized the plan, and with great fear of the one in front of him, she took strength and released the strongest kick she could make direct to the most precious parts of every man, in this case of that giant. With great speed and precision the blow was direct and even someone of that size could not help but fall silent on his knees before the most agonizing pain that a man was capable of feeling.
After falling to his knees, the wind began to pile up and as if he had accurately calculated the time, now the giant had lost his balance and was just on a straight path towards the exit door. The wind enveloped the giant on both sides pushing him with brutal force into the street, it was not a deadly attack, not for someone like him, but it would take that big guy a long time to get up from that.
Sauvre again showed that picaresque expression before a well executed plan while Lys looked at him incredulous of what had just happened. He had used her as bait to have time to concentrate enough wind to act, and if it wasn’t for the girl who knew him and imagined what he was going to do to weaken the giant, none of that would have worked.
From that first mission, their abilities and minds were coordinated in an excellent way, they could predict what each one was about to do and act accordingly to complete the other part of the plan without even mentioning a single word, thats what made them an incredibly effective duo for any job the bloody crows gave them.
After flying that giant off the place, the veteran erased his smile and returned to his severe look. He began to move with determination and speed into the door that was blocked by the guy he just threw outside, Lys followed without much doubt, still a little nervous about the whole situation but knowing that those nerves should be under control if she wanted to be of use to save all those innocent lives.
They descended by a corridor that soon gave to another closed door, now the shouts of that man that tried to motivate the citizens to act against the kingdom could be heard with clarity, but Sauvre would not allow himself to be distracted by that, he turned and standed up with his back against the door and winked an eye at his companion, at that moment a gust of wind crashed against him and made him go through the door.
A sudden silence was present, the words of Sauvre at the beginning resonated in the mind of Lys "And try to look more ... evil" It was clear what she had to do after what he had just done, she tried to make her face look cold and severe, took a step forward and hit with both hands to the walls at his side, the same stone they were composed began to deform and close the only exit that place seemed to have.

With a look of utter fear on the face of the one who looked like a veteran full of marks on his face that made him look like a stern and cold man, now showing absolute fear as if he were in the presence of hell itself, that was the face of Sauvre that sought to scare those who were there.
"She's a monster! Nobody comes near, she's going to kill us all!" He exclaimed in a voice that seemed to break with the same scream, he was indeed a master of the performance, for that and much more he was known as the best of all crows.
The common people stepped back empathizing with the man who had entered violently pushed by what was seen for them as a superhuman force, they felt great fear towards the figure that appeared in front of them, imagining it as if they were facing their worst nightmares. What kind of monster was capable of inflicting so much fear on a man who looked so much like a war veteran?
The man who was leading them soon raised his voice, he had not been carried away by the performance and his face only denoted confusion, it was not someone who would fall too easy, it was not someone who would be manipulated by a simple act.
"What is this all about?! Intruders! Where is my guard?!" He exclaimed as he instantly drew a short sword that he carried in the waist, pointing to Lys but still at a long distance to be able to hurt her.
"Dead sir, Dead! Nobody can face her, she is an extremely powerful witch and she comes for your head! She said that you are a criminal from her kingdom, she has forced me to help her, I did what I could to keep her from entering!" No matter how well he acted that wasn’t goin to convince a paranoid man. But it wasn’t a lie that something had made him fly and to cross the door with superhuman strength, and that the man with the appearance of a veteran was clearly wounded and lying on the ground with an expression of fear.
"She’s a Silent Assassin! She said that, that she was looking for him for inciting the people against his king and escaped after failing!" The face of that old man with sword in hand only showed confusion, didn’t understand what was happening, nothing that was being said made sense, he was from there, but those words of Sauvre had sown doubt in the common people present there.
"It could be true," muttered one. "Oh gods what have we gotten ourselves into? This was a mistake..." Said another across the room. "We are condemned, everything just for following this madman with his plans, we will all be executed as traitors." The voice of another was heard along with dozens of whispers of fear and doubt.
Lys simply watched from the door with the most serious expression she could give, she could not talk so that was her role, that of a silent killer whose only job was to kill that man, but to herself she was somewhat afraid that everything would ended up horribly wrong.
A sudden darkness began to appear around the woman who was just in front of the only exit now distorted and closed by her power. The darkness gave her a more fearful look, her eyes fixed on Sauvre, although the reality is that she was waiting for some kind of signal to tell her how to act, the darkness suddenly covered her eyes giving her a hellish and more threatening aspect.
The veteran crow who was lying there in the middle of that small closed cellar began to speak again to continue with the act.
"She told me that she only wants him, if we let her take him to her kingdom she will not kill us all!" He said without delay, hoping to see the reaction of the people.
"Attack these two idiots, do not let them ruin all our efforts, remember what we want, the king does not deserve our obedience if he is not even able to give us security, do not believe his lies, I was born in this kingdom and I will die in it!" Though inspiring, his words fell on deaf ears, the simple villagers there, men of simple jobs and without any training had already fallen prey to fear.
"Take him!" One shouted. "We never wanted to go against the king, we just wanted security!" Said another. Lys was right, it was only a man who possessed the ideals of rebellion against the monarchy, just one guilty of that crime. The young woman raised her hand towards the one who was inciting the people, but behind the shadows that now covered her there was fear and nervousness. Should she be the one to kill him? Everything in that act seemed to indicate it but ... she didn’t know if she really could.
From her hands a throwing dagger began to be created, the man with the sword had realized the situation in which he was and how everyone did not hesitate a moment to turn against him, decided to charge directly to the girl with a lunge of his sword. However, at that moment the darkness began to dissipate slowly as the wind from that room began to swirl just in front of the man and Lys.
The dagger suddenly detached itself from the girl's hands and flew directly to the neck of the man who was stopped by the wind, while she tried to maintain the seriousness of that act and a cold expression in her eternal silence, the truth it is that she felt liberated for not having to be to be the one who gave the final blow.
"Oh master of the almighty soul, unbeatable lady, spirit of the murders, let us go free, we did not want to act in favor of this horrible man, you have already fulfilled your mission and we ask you for mercy!" No other than Sauvre in his eternal Act could say something like that so seriously. The people there present didn’t even doubt for more than an instant that they got on their knees to ask for mercy.
The girl turned and put her hand on the wall, undoing the blockade on the only exit, moving towards the center of the room and leaving a clear space for people to start desperate getting out of that place.
"Ignore my wounds, save yourselves, run for your life!" Sauvre shouted as all the people got out in desperation from that place, it was more than clear that none of them would even think about acting against the king after what they had just seen. When the place got empty, the veteran crow began to laugh out loud.
Lys denied to herself as she watched her partner laugh, with a slight smile on her side, her expression had calmed but still showed that she was nervous, her hands were shaking a bit, for a moment she had considered throwing that dagger, making the final blow, but her partner knew perfectly well that she wasn’t ready for that yet.
"Agh ... that blow hurted." He said between laughs and grimaces of pain as he tried to get up, fortunately being a man with a body extremely worked but hidden behind his dark clothes, he had received nothing but blunt blows devoid of real risk to his body when he threw himself against the door.
As soon as he was finished getting up he was overwhelmed by a hug from the girl and a small kiss on the cheek, nervously she would go away instantly to make a single sign with her hands.
"Thank you." She couldn’t be more grateful to have such a partner and teacher, no one could be better than him, he had changed everything and even rejected orders just for a whim of her. The veteran crow smiled kindly and simply denied calmly.
"Let's go back." he said without further ado, as he began to walk back to the secret base of the bloody crows.
There the dream would have ended, there it should have ended, because that was not reality, but it was not a dream either, but a nightmare, and every action has a reaction, in this case one that would mark the end they would have.
As if time was advancing at great speed, now she was days ahead and what was drawn in front of her eyes was something able to frighten even the bravest. The vision of the one whom she cared above all being tortured before her eyes in that torture chamber, Sauvre's naked torso full of horrible marks and wounds that she had never seen, and a man of imposing size hitting him with a sharp whip with metallic edges.
That had been the horrible price to pay for not respecting the orders of their leader, for not fulfilling the mission as they had been told, but the punishment was not going to fall on the young woman who asked for everything to change, but on who was supposed to watch that the mission was carried out properly, and that was Sauvre, Lys had fulfilled her mission at the time of checking that there was a meeting, and that should have been the end of her work and the beginning of Sauvre’s.
However, in the eyes of the crow leader there were now a dozen people who were witnesses of two bloody crows and who had agreed to follow the orders of a traitor to the crown, of a rebel, only that fact already marked them as possible rebels that should be executed, but now it was hard and useless to trace them one by one.
Weeks of torture was the price to pay for her beloved teacher, and hers was to witness that torture. She could feel that dream becoming a nightmare, as the image of Sauvre being tortured became clearer and sharper, as if she were reliving it, until suddenly she awoke in what would have been a cry of terror, muted and only showing an expression of absolute fear. That would be her price to pay if she got caught? Was that why she remembered this right now?
Now in reality she could see Jerre's worried face in front of her, the dizziness had gone away at least, but everything around her, tools and the same straw where she slept, had been completely disintegrated. His power had been activated even while she slept without even realizing because of that horrible nightmare ... What was she going to do now? She had been discovered, and soon... soon she would end up facing the crows again... and that never ended well...
