Synopsis
The planet Aepok is old and scarred, a world of monsters and magic.
A world that bears many enemies for her people.
In the wake of a ancient mistake and the resulting war, demons and the foul, corrupted magic that birthed them have remained a permanent threat, always to be fought. Never truly dead.
In space, the planet Viedarr continually harangues Aepokian blood.
And on Aepok itself, ancient hatreds divide her nations, a division that a shrouded, scheming force intends to use.
In the midst of all this, a small group of mercenaries, unusual in composition, forms their own unit, the Lycans. They embark on a routine salvage mission to the Devastation Strait-a shipping lane infamous for its proximity to the primal realm of the Wildelands, and prone to excessive brigand attacks. There they stumble across a wreck and uncover a dangerous link between the infamous Lucar pirates and the Dominion Empire, a small but growing force that seeks to gain the power to conquer the planet...and remake it in their own dark vision. Short on time and unable to garner help, the ragtag group decides to handle the matter themselves, despite the deadly dangers.
Or risk evil gaining the power of the gods.
