[participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] The story follows a 28-year-old widower who manages to recover from a 2-year depression with the help of his family after his wife and newborn child dies. Now, with a new-found purpose of taking care of his nieces and nephew, he gets another chance at life. Unfortunately, it gets cut short as he confronts his niece's stalker resulting in the both of them dying after falling from the fourth floor of an apartment complex.
