Love is a rollercoaster, and Joshua knows it's too late to get off. It's the early-2000s when Joshua is approached by a mysterious businessman, Nathan Koenig. Between them, a strange attraction, and a lifeline for the wayward Joshua. Down in Oregon, Nathan has committed everything he has into a fledgling amusement park, with wild ambitions of turning it into a premier attraction of the Pacific Northwest. Steely clouds hang over flashing marquees, and Joshua finds himself in a wonderland of self-discovery - and in the eyes of an ever-rogueish, never-pretentious drifter. Caught between the worlds of old money and no money, as ferris wheels rise and coasters dive, Joshua is on track for the ride of his life.
