The café buzzed with excitement as the top four matches were announced. Alan’s team, Green Tipped Bananas, would face Against All Odds (AAO), an aggressive, unpredictable team known for chaotic, fast-paced games. Their mid-laner, Reckoner, was a standout player who was a beast on Twisted Fate, creating havoc with calculated map pressure.
Balls:
“Reckoner’s Twisted Fate is no joke. Watch for his roams.”
Travis:
“Yeah, and their jungler’s nuts too. He’ll camp mid if they smell blood.”
Alan nodded. “Let them come. We’ll play tight. I’ll bait them into overcommitting.”

Game One
Alan hovered over his options, considering a safe pick. Morgana felt solid against Twisted Fate’s crowd control and roaming playstyle.
Locked In: Morgana
Opponent: Twisted Fate
The game began, and Reckoner immediately asserted dominance. Twisted Fate shoved the wave early, forcing Alan to farm under turret. Every time Alan stepped forward, a Wild Card zipped past him, chipping away at his health. Worse, the enemy jungler hovered mid, applying unrelenting pressure.
“Play it safe,” Alan muttered, warding diligently and focusing on last-hitting with Tormented Shadow.
At 8 minutes, Twisted Fate disappeared from lane. Alan pinged bot, but it was too late. A well-timed Destiny ultimate placed Twisted Fate behind Green Tipped Bananas’ bot lane, securing a double kill.
Balls:
“We need push in mid. This TF’s everywhere.”
Alan exhaled sharply, trying to focus. By mid-game, the gap widened. AAO’s map control was suffocating, with Twisted Fate roaming freely and setting up picks. Even when Alan landed clutch Dark Bindings, AAO’s superior coordination kept them ahead.
The final blow came during a Baron fight at 24 minutes. AAO baited Green Tipped Bananas into a chokepoint, and Twisted Fate’s Gold Card locked Alan down before he could react. The ensuing fight was a disaster, and AAO ended the game with a decisive push.
Defeat.
Alan leaned back, staring at the defeat screen. His score—2/4/5—was mediocre at best. He glanced at his system interface, where no rewards or progress appeared.
Travis:
“Tough game. They’re good, but we can beat them.”
Alan tightened his grip on the mouse. “We’ll adapt.”

Game Two
Alan entered the draft for Game Two, determined to shift the momentum. When Reckoner locked in Morgana, Alan countered with Kassadin. It was a risky pick, but he trusted his late-game scaling.
Locked In: Kassadin
Opponent: Morgana
The laning phase started painfully, as expected. Morgana’s long range and wave-clear forced Alan to play defensively. He focused on farming with Null Sphere and avoided unnecessary trades.
By 10 minutes, the tide began to turn. AAO’s aggressive jungler overcommitted to a dive, and Alan’s precise Riftwalk punished the misstep. Securing his first kill, he began stacking his items.
Balls:
“Kassadin’s scaling. Let’s stall for late.”
Alan smiled faintly. “Give me five more minutes.”
At 27 minutes, Alan hit his level 16 power spike.
Kassa-win (Bronze) Activated: Clutch +5
With Rod of Ages and Archangel’s Staff complete, he became a force to be reckoned with. In a pivotal team fight near Dragon, he Riftwalked onto Morgana, dodging her Dark Binding and unleashing a devastating combo.
Triple Kill!
Clutch +1. Mental Resilience +1.
The café erupted as Kassadin wiped AAO’s backline. From that point on, Alan dictated the game. Every Riftwalk felt calculated, dismantling AAO’s formation and punishing their over aggression. By 33 minutes, Green Tipped Bananas secured Baron and closed out the game.
Victory!
Alan’s system chimed softly in his mind:
Balls:
“That’s the Kassadin we know! Let’s go!”

Game Three
The deciding game of the series. The draft mirrored Game One, with Reckoner returning to Twisted Fate. However, this time he banned Alan's Kassadin. Alan hovered Morgana, hesitating.
“You’ve got this,” Travis said in Discord. “Let’s show them what we’re made of.”
Alan locked in Morgana. This time, he wouldn’t play passively.
Locked In: Morgana
Opponent: Twisted Fate
The early game was intense. Reckoner once again shoved the wave, but Alan anticipated his roams, placing deep wards and pinging relentlessly. At 6 minutes, when Twisted Fate used Destiny, Alan followed with a teleport bot lane, landing a perfect Dark Binding to counter the play.
Balls:
“Sick TP! Let’s turn this.”
The fight ended 2-for-1 in Green Tipped Bananas’ favor, giving their bot lane much-needed momentum. Alan returned to mid with a renewed sense of control.
By mid-game, the teams were evenly matched. Twisted Fate and Morgana danced around objectives, trading picks and vision. At 22 minutes, the game’s defining moment arrived. AAO attempted to rush Baron, but Alan caught Twisted Fate with a surprise Soul Shackles from the side. The stun locked him in place, and Balls’s Malphite followed with an Unstoppable Force.
Ace!
Leadership +1. Adaptation +1.
Green Tipped Bananas claimed Baron and began their final push. Alan played methodically, shielding his ADC with Black Shield and landing crucial bindings on retreating enemies. With one last team fight, they broke AAO’s nexus.
Victory!
Alan leaned back, adrenaline coursing through him. His system chimed again:
Balls:
“Finals, baby! Let’s go!”
Travis:
“That Morgana redemption arc hit different.”
Alan smirked but stayed focused. The finals were next, a chance to prove himself and cement Green Tipped Bananas as champions. He glanced at his system interface, where a new notification awaited.
