Amorella must journey into the Labyrinth, the dangerous heart of King Teryn's fae kingdom, to save her sister, Fawn. Joining her is the assassin Slyn- an attractive but cowardly Dusk-Touched Fae tasked with killing her who, upon perceiving her fiery spirit, cannot bring himself to kill her, but instead tries to lead her to an unwitting death under the guise of helping her. Together, they journey past otherworldly monsters and terrifying landscapes, deeper into the Fae kingdom, prompted by futile hope and unshakeable prophecy to bring this kingdom of monsters and magic to its knees.
