Long ago, all that existed was the void, nothing more, nothing less. The universe was covered in perpetual darkness until he came. The Lightbringer pushed back the void and, in his ultimate sacrifice, sealed it away beyond the outer limits of the universe. It has faded out of history and out of mind, yet it waits for the protection to disappear so it can reclaim what it once owned.  In the middle disk, Mason wakes up, not aware that his fate will change this day. Coming to terms with a loss and a need to find some answers, he sets out to discover the mystery of his parent's disappearance and the unsettling currents moving through the universe. Joined by his best friend, they face everything from betrayal to a history that has been buried and forgotten. They will discover things about themselves that they would have never expected and form bonds that will test their resolve.  Deep in the outer limit, shadows lurk, waiting for their next meal, eyeing the brighter pastures closer to the inner core. Here, people spend every day seeking out a life free from poverty. Many people are waiting to strike it rich and escape the never-ending cycle of daily living, not knowing where their next paycheck will come from or whether they will have food on their plates.  ‘When all hope seems lost, the Light guides us and protects us from the encroaching darkness.
