“What the heck is that!? Oh god, oh god, oh god!”

His face looks like he just met with a ghost and he increase his running speed as much as he can.

I don’t want to die yet! I still want to steal one more mantou from old man John! I want to piss on that damn arrogant Neel’s face! At least let me step on Lily’s head once….*Sob* *Sob*

Oh dear, he even start to cry. Now I felt a little bad for him…

“I don’t want to die yet!!!! I’m still young, my meat is not yummy at all! Stop chasing meee!! My bone is so fragile, you’ll get nothing even if you eat me, at least wait until I’m big enough to be eaten….Waaaaa…”

He even has the time to cry and complained while running. Quite a funny scene isn’t it?

Though, if he just looked at the back again, the pair of crimson eye actually had already vanished. Not like we can decide if it stopped chasing him or not.

Root’s eyes become resolute and without knowing it, a red static formed on both of his feet! His speed had actually increased in a large margin! Stealthily, the crimson eye appeared behind him again.

This time it truly starts to chase Root as fast as it can. The sudden burst of Root’s speed had actually surprise the beast! And as a beast, it competitive nature made it doesn’t want to lose to him a frail human.

*AOOOOO!*

The howl came again into Root’s ear and all of his body trembled. His body starts to shake non-stop. He doesn’t want to die, he just want to be alive that’s all, a very simple wish.

“Shit! Shit! Shit! Can’t you find someone else than me!? Ah! You know there is a certain old man in my village called John, he has a very delicious meat and healthy bones! I’m sure you will like him rather an unripe kid like me!”

This guy…he even tries to start a conversation with a beast. And he even sold someone else. What a shameless person.

The beast didn’t even stop for a second and keep chasing him at it top speed. If there is a spectator around, they can actually see a blood dripping on the beast’s trail! The beast seems to be really desperate and finally pound toward Root with all it might.

“Graah! Noooo! I still haven’t has the chance to step on Lily’s head! I want to have a beautiful wife that can feed me every day!!! I DON’T WANT TO DIE YET!!”

When he turn his back and saw a silhouette of terrifying beast, he almost fainted but he bit his tongue and throw a punch with all his might toward the beast. Even though the punch is only a simple one, a raging storm suddenly produced from that tiny fist!

The crimson eye seems to startle, but what can it do? It already on the midair and it can’t move its body anymore. The raging storm surge through the beast and shove it toward the back!

The one who seems to be the main preparatory of this event stand with a dumbfounded face. His jaw gaped when he saw this 

unprecedented scene.

“W-Wha…..D-did I actually has a hidden talent!? O-or a heaven defying strength!?”

From the dumbfounded face, it turns into a creepy grin and haughty expression. Then he turns toward the fallen beast and shout,

“HAHAHAHA! You damned beast! You want to eat me!? Come and try it! HAHAHA! Not like you can huh?!”

Just when he wanted to vent his frustration toward the fallen beast, it suddenly trembles. The beast got up and sit on the grassy field with a bewildered expression. It face towards Root with a confused expression and lick it’s paw cutely.

“……..”

In front of Root is a 3 meter wolf with black silky fur covered the whole body. The unique part about this wolf is it has a pair of yellow ear and tail. Both of it eyes is crimson red which is quite contrast with the color of it fur. It tilted its head when he looks at Root, it surely felt a deathly presence when Root suddenly throw a punch. But it happens only for a moment and the storm doesn’t even give it any injuries and only push it for a few meters.

Our hero here, muttered creepily while looming on the ground. His whole body seems to be daze and sweat start to pour again like a storm. The difference on both figures had already made him give up and he held his head up again while closing his eyes.

“Am I going to die? *Sniffle*Oh my mother who I don’t where you are right now, I’m really sorry for being born into this life and even disappointed you too many times….I’m really sorry…”

He started to pour out all of his regret and cried as much as he can. Oh well, he’s on death door obviously. This is the last chance he can do this. The wolf tilts it head again and looks toward him with a puzzled expression.

“All of you who call me trash……..I’ll sure pay you back in the other world! I’ll surel-“

*Pang*

His face suddenly buried on the ground.

The wolf pound his head to make he fainted. Of course using only enough strength, but that surely hurt. Can’t blame the wolf, though, it looks very cute.

*AOOOOOO*

The wolf started to howl again but this time with a gentle tone. After a brief moment, a silver figure suddenly appears beside the wolf.

The silver figure wore a full body robe with hood covering the whole body and face. But if you look carefully, there is a small bump on the chest, a very small bump.

“Oh you’re injured? Damn, someone must discover the kid already…..But I’m still the first one. Hehehe, seems I gained something really good this time!”

An adorable voice came out from the figure. Though, our hero right now is sleeping soundly.
