One thousand years ago, Esh’Alstroe was the fabled Sword Saintess of legends. Then, she died. ...Not murdered, of course, good heavens. She just starved to death, forgetting to eat after resting in a field of her favorite flowers for just a bit too long. If the story ended here, Esh would have been satisfied. After all, she lived a satisfying life, and died comfortably in the culmination of her life's work. She had no loose ends, and no enemies either (because they were all dead). Unfortunately, it seems the spirits of her beloved flower field had different ideas. Through the time of a millennium, they preserved the soul of their beloved caretaker, and eventually succeeded in the ancient ritual of resurrection, transplanting Esh’s soul into an adorable, un-sword saintess-like doll constructed over the time of a thousand years. And so, Esh’Alstroe, the fabled Sword Saintess of legends, awoke in both a body and a world she very much failed to recognize.
