Part 2

“Elly, take the front!” I gave my first order. I positioned Rose at the rear as usual. The Saha’agin Chief was very well equipped. Unlike the other Saha’agin who came with minimal equipment, the Chief was elaborate in its style. Sporting a helmet, a shield, a scimitar and spiky armour and shoulder pad, he looked grossly mean. At level 99, it was not a pushover.
I decided to take the Chief head-on. Giving it time to react, I was sure it would either find me, Rose or even Sonia as the easiest to dispose of. Since our physical defence rating was not that high, it surely would have higher chances to hurt us.
Elly taunted and took the Chief’s aggro before anyone else could do anything. Being a woman who tanked a high-levelled monster somehow spurred and challenged the other two men into immediate action. They sprung their feet and immediately struck the Chief relentlessly. I continued to cast my healing skills on Elly or the other two as needed; preferably using Rejuvenate first and then Basic Heal. Since my Basic Heal was now at level 3, I could actually heal more HP than their received damage. A great morale booster for another who needed it. Of course, I was taking into the account of not aggroing the map boss to myself with my overzealous healing and thus disrupting the party’s ad-hoc attack coordination.

And Sonia then delivered yet another one of her devastating attack once the Saha’agin Chief dropped below 40%. She might not look like it with her cloak covering her skimpy outfit that made her breast and thigh bulged out anytime she walked, but her skills were anything but.
“Luminescence Ray!” A small greenish light ball emerged directly in front the Saha’agin Chief.
“Oh, shit! Close your eyes!!” Kast immediately sounded to all of us. Fortunately, his words came in time as Sonia finished her casting. The light ball exploded in blinding flash that shook the whole platform. I had to cover my eyes immediately and the details were vague with what happened. But once everything subsided, only then I knew what happened.
“Big Sis! If you wanted to use one of your Ulti, you could have warned us first!!” Brom was not amused. Stomping his feet on the ground a couple of time, he gestured towards Sonia but was brushed off with her laugh. Kast could only shake his head looking at those two. And I was quite relieved to see that Elly and Rose were unharmed too. But of course, I made my displeasure known too to Sonia as I shook my head, disproving her earlier antics.
Sonia just chuckled at her words and poke her tongue out a little trying to look cute. “Sorry boys, I just got over excited a little.”
Ultimate Skills were not simply just any other skills. Bestowed only on certain selected people via a special job, it was one of the peak level skills. The lowest ranked was at Advance level and even that too was more than deadly and powerful compared to other skill its level. I managed to gather whatever information I’d had but seeing one was my first time.
“How’s that, Ghost?” She looked at me, giggling like a little girl.
“Could have warned us earlier, like how Brom said.” I crossed my arms and pouted. Sonia burst into a fit of laughter. Perhaps she was having too much fun, but anything that made her happy made us safe. I could play along with her for now. But, I could never expect that she was to continue to stay with my party beyond the initial agreement.
