Chapter 0 Prologue

Prologue: Where Does the Journey Begins?

Thundering cries overhead, sparks flying everywhere as far as the eye can see. Scorched lands covered in a pool of fire, the land right now was dyed in the rich color of pure crimson red this was nothing new to her this is a battlefield.

Why do people fight?

It has been asked over and over again long since the beginning of time even before civilization has even begun for humankind. Yet despite the long years no one has seem to have been able to answer that question so no one has ever bothered to ask again.

Here once again in blazing seas of fire and death does one stand-alone gazing over the dark night sky as the cries of war echo throughout the night, setting her eyes on the battle ahead of her.

“How long has it been now? Ah well~, “sigh” even though it has only been a couple of hours but it sure feels years have passed already.”

The girl questioned herself as she was brushing her long pure white-silver hair that glittered in the dim light backwards as she gazed through the screen of her Machine. It was her own personal Machine painted in white and sliver coloring where in the light of the moon shined with a clear brightness despite the darkness of the sky that covers it giving the unit a unique feel to it to those who see it pulling them into a trance. The machine also has a very special feature to the unit as it also had bright light veins all over the frame that lights up all over the unit in a pulse that colored the unit in light sliver-blueish color.

It’s been a couple of months since the war has begun so much has changed during these times yet what one does is still the same during these times they fight. Fight for what? Glory? Fame? Money? For more land? She did not understand the other side’s way of thinking from the time they struck the first blow, she never will nor will she even care about it, she does not question it or rather she just didn’t even want to bother thinking about it. It only told her one thing, they are the enemy and she must fight.

“I guess this is going to be a long night I better meet up with the others and get this done and over with already.”

As she tilt her controls which cause the wings on her machine’s back to open up and spread out as the thruster in the wings fired up which lit up a pale color light as it rose up into the air with the moon behind it, it looked like a divine being of legend and myth as it speeded away forward leaving a trail of bright light and particle light specks that disappears into the air before even getting close to even a few meters to the ground in its path as it flew into battle.

Why do people fight? She does not know “it’s just nature” she thought as a matter of fact as that fighting and being strong was something that was necessary if one isn’t strong they die this was a lesson that was constantly taught to her as far as she can remember so she could hardly careless anymore. As she flew to her destination that question rang in her head once more but to her instead of asking;why people even fight at all she had a better question that she had for herself.

“What was worth fighting for?”

For that question, she had an answer to it and it’s for that reason that she does not waver in what she does.

“I’m going to end this.” She said as her eyes gazed upon the horizon with the moon shining it light for her light a path to her next destination.
