Synopsis
Liric, a seventeen-year-old orphan, no family nor home, surviving in a small village by being a leaf on the wind floating from villager to villager performing odd jobs in exchange for food and shelter. Though the villagers acknowledge his presence, he remains on the fringes of their lives—an unseen force completing mundane tasks. Despite his aimless existence, Liric feels a deep connection to the nearby woods, the only place where he truly belongs.
For years, he has experienced fleeting, inexplicable moments—colors appearing brighter, his footing suddenly surer—yet the sensations always vanish almost before he even notices it has happened.
Everything changes one evening when he ventures into the forest. As he watches a single leaf begin its descent, something within him shifts. He understands—not through calculation, but through an innate, profound awareness. He comprehends the leaf’s every motion, its sway, the wind’s pull, and precisely where it will land. In that moment, he grasps a fundamental truth:
The Law of Falling Leaves.
This understanding is something a normal human should never be able to comprehend and so a normal human Liric is no longer. He is more, but he's also not the only one...
