Synopsis
A young widow with two small children, Shel, is suddenly isekaied ( transported) to a fantasy world. She wakes up as a dungeon core, a powerful being with control over the labyrinth's layout and creatures. With no idea what's happening or how to get back home, Shel must navigate this new world and figure out what she is supposed to do next.
Shel encounters various creatures, both friendly and hostile, and learns about the world's history and politics. She searches for answers, and other people as she is looking for guidance and support in her journey. However, Shel's primary focus remains on finding a way to save her children, and she will stop at nothing to ensure their safety and well-being.
Along the way, Shel discovers hidden secrets about herself and the system, undergoes personal growth, and forms meaningful relationships with the creatures and characters she meets. As she journeys through this unfamiliar world, Shel learns to embrace her new role as both a dungeon core and a mother, finding strength and purpose in her new life.
Labyrinth Lullabies is a slice-of-life, second-chance story with some elements of action and lots of fantasy. It explores themes of family, friendship, self-discovery, and perseverance in the face of adversity. Will Shel find a way to save her children? Or will she discover a new purpose in this strange and wondrous world? Dive into this imaginative and emotional tale of a widowed mother's journey as the labyrinth.
