Nuclear energy has an undying infamy in one aspect, it is an inevitable harbinger of DEATH. After the world is ended in a cataclysmic Nuclear Fission Power Plant meltdown, civilization clings to any aspects of humanity that may have survived as it spirals out of control. The United States, now divided into three fragments; The mostly civil and collected FREE STATES. The over-controlled and over-policed REPUBLIC. The last is a dangerous, desolate, waste ravaged by mutants and fabled monsters, known as THE OUT.  After years of technological advancements, a FREE STATES operative is tasked with investigating the ruined carcass of the Power Plant, what she finds beneath is the most unexpected discovery. Five charming, unmutated, human boys all seemingly enhanced with unforeseen abilities, and stricken only with knowledge of turn-of the century Superhero comics. No parents, no adults, just some superpowered kids. Their abilities alone make them capable enough to help turn the tide of America. Is it possible that Nuclear energy has gone against its nature?
