On the eve of her tenth birthday, Sam Wilde has a wonderful dream about a floating castle; a place where all her dreams can come to life. When she wakes she realizes no one remembers the dreams but her. Things take a turn for the worst when the children of her town begin to be sleeping but unable to wake up. A mysterious character called The Author asks her to navigate the dream world and help him solve the mystery of the sleeping children.
