Synopsis
During the War of the Continent, King Eyrk of Nathesan made a fateful decision that would seal his doom. Driven by ambition and fear, Eyrk killed his own father to seize the throne. His father’s dying eyes, filled with a mixture of shock and disappointment, haunted him as he took the crown. As enemy forces breached the castle walls, Eyrk chose to flee, abandoning his people and his soldiers. Desperate to save himself, he ran through the streets, past the city gates, and onto the forest paths. The people of Nathesan, feeling betrayed by their cowardly king, cursed his name and prayed for divine retribution. In their wrath, they called upon the Sun God for justice. “By the name of the Sun God,” one of the fated soldiers proclaimed. The divine Spear of the Sun God struck from the heavens, piercing Eyrk from behind as he fled into the forest, creating a massive crevice where it landed. But death was not the end for Eyrk. He awoke, reborn in Al’trezea. With memories of his past life intact, Eyrk is haunted by his previous failures and the murder of his father. Initially, he tries to flee from the burdens of leadership once again. Can a fallen king rise again, or is he doomed to repeat the failures of his past?
