So-ree has never known a life worth living. It made sense to her to take the offer of a stranger which promised to get her out of her miserable life. However, the woman died and left So-ree with a strange spirit, a mission to hunt immortals and very few answers. Thrust into a world beyond her understand where humanity was scattered by an ancient catastrophe and left to huddle in small enclaves ruled over by immortals, she has to find her own way and do it while keeping her companion happy, her stalkers off her trail and with only a few strange abilities and very little common sense to do it.
