Synopsis
Toru’s past is one of pain and isolation, but her dream of one day owning a café gives her hope for a better future. After finishing school online with the support of a caring teacher, Toru reluctantly takes a part-time job at the KikiTori Café, owned by her teacher’s brother, Kai. Though she struggles with anxiety and trust, the café becomes more than just a job—it’s a space for her to heal, grow, and take small steps toward the future she’s always dreamed of.
When a startling secret about the café’s true mission comes to light, Toru is drawn into a world of quiet courage and compassion—a world where women and girls who’ve faced unimaginable challenges are given a safe space to start anew. As Toru confronts her own past, she discovers that healing comes in many forms, and even small acts of kindness can transform lives.
A heartfelt blend of slice-of-life warmth and emotional depth, KikiTori Café is a story about finding strength in community, rebuilding after brokenness, and learning that sometimes, helping others is the first step to helping yourself.
