The Kingdom is in rebellion. The heretical Kyrithon armies burn the land in an attempt to purify it of all non-believers. The fighting is savage and although King Thalorian appears to have the upper hand new soldiers are converted to Kyrithon ranks every day.  Kenosia is the gate to the crownlands. Far from the fighting it has felt but little of the horror of war. Arios, a young boy in the city, dreams of joining the fighting. He is ambitious, resourceful but rash and his father will hear none of it. But both of them will soon find that war waits for no one. Perhaps Kenosia is not as safe as they thought.  ***Notes***Buildup a little slow at the start. Hopefully worth it.Magic is used sparingly but is impactful
