A tragic tale that follows the recently revived Dioltas Rumeras, a man who has suffered countless atrocities at the hands of dragons. He rages on as he travels the realms, worlds interconnected to one another, in a gilded crusade. After destroying the flights in the world known as Felwinter, he finds himself flung right into the clutches of a draconic empire, which captures him as the last living human in their world. There, he is tortured for information, and held in a state of near death for months. All the while, a young scribe visits him, her curiosity overpowering her fear as she tries to piece together his connection to the realm's history. Their tale ends in tragedy.
