Both Jake and Nickolette have just experienced a bad breakup. Both are down on their luck with next to no money and no place to live. Both move to Devil's Peak at practically the same time. Nickolette has a car, a job, and $500 in her bank account. Jake has Contractor's license and $20 in his pocket. They find themselves neighbors at a campsite and while both of them are 100% against relationships at the moment, they come to an agreement.This is a writing methodology test. I'm going to be posting bits of the opening scene written by two different methods and and running a poll on which people think is the best.
