When a boy comes of age in the Warrior Kingdom of Avernae, he has one of two choices. Become a warrior or apprentice to his father, mother, or another in his village who sees potential in him. Despite losing his parents when his father died in the war and his mother's illness due to his father's death, Jac was a proud Avernaean and has wanted nothing more than to serve his nation like his father had since he was old enough to think.
