This fanfiction is dedicated to the true fans of the Naruto series. Not gonna lie, two of the characters that drew me deeply into the Naruto universe are Kakashi Hatake and Itachi Uchiha. Kakashi Hatake had a life filled with accomplishments: he tutored the infamous Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha, and he eventually became the Sixth Hokage of the Hidden Leaf Village. He had the chance to face all the major villains, and everything about him was just cool. But what left me most regretful was the life story of Itachi Uchiha, painted as a sacrificial character by Masashi Kishimoto. If you happen to read this fanfiction, no offense, sir, but your plot for Itachi sucks. So, here I am, changing the story of Itachi Uchiha. To make things more interesting, let's begin with the synopsis. --- The story follows Ethan, who was born with a feeble heart and spent most of his life in the hospital. Both of his parents were high achievers: his father was a promising lawyer at a major corporation, and his mother was a successful architect. Despite being well-off, money meant nothing when he was always sick and his only friends were nurses and other patients. He developed a habit of reading comics, which evolved into a fixation on manga, and he eventually got hooked on the Naruto series. His doctor had lost hope in his health, giving him only two months to live. But his passion for the Naruto series kept him alive for the next three years—a miracle. He passed away the very night the Naruto series concluded with the Boruto movie arc. However, when he woke up, he found himself in a strange yet familiar place that he often saw in anime. Looking at the surface of the water, he saw the face of his most likable character, Itachi Uchiha. [To make the storytelling more feasible to my taste, I will use "he" instead of "I". Plus, to make it more interesting, I'll add LitRPG as another cheat.]
