Synopsis
Journalist Karl Moss’ friend and colleague, was just found dead, slayed by a morningstar while dressed like a renaissance fair participant having a very, very bad day.
Moss’ investigation takes him to a wishing well once owned by a struggling fantasy author, now owned by one of the richest men in the world. While evading security, Karl falls into a wishing well and soon finds himself in a strange and brutal world that’s literally out of a fantasy novel.
Moss soon finds himself allied with Teagan, his former best friend, who no longer remembers him or anything from her old life as a reporter. While trying to uncover what led Teagan to this strange world, Moss finds his former friend is but one of many mysteries in a world full of danger and magic.
What To Expect
- A setting ripped from classic sword and sorcery novels.
- Progression fantasy, with an unlikely protagonist learning as he moves from weak to skilled.
_ No harem.
- This was written as part of the Community Magazine Contest. As such, you can probably look at it as a “pilot” in television terms - if there’s enough demand for this story, I’ll commit to a regular update schedule and start more.
