John was like many unemployed people down on their luck. The economy was crap and not many could live beyond paycheck to paycheck.  However, the young man actually was a tad more unlucky than most.  His situation was rather dire.  He desperately needed a job, but it seemed his fortune was soon changing. He had a good feeling about this one. This one might just solve all his problems. He continued anxiously waiting for the potential job all day.  And then it came. … So after writing to my current point in the story, it is a lot more of a slow burn than I expected. Just wanted anyone interested to know. Thanks.
