Synopsis
How common must a facet of life become before its true nature becomes nothing more than a commodity?
Nûne had many special days some devoted to drunken revelry others to the ritual sacrifice of unlucky prisoners but none held more significance to Kelso than his... Graduation Day!
Four years of mathematical equations and endless recitations of Elder Lich Verthorak's Five Social Pillars pertaining to the resurrection and controlling of any consenting undead had drained Kelso not only mentally but physically as well. Oh sure he enjoyed the challenge of mastering some archaic branch of knowledge but his all too common "blank outs" had made his life more akin to a collection of barely lucid daydreams.
The constant spotlight on the worn out wheelchair he was confined to hadn't made his academic journey any easier either but after graduation he and Bukè, his best friend and freshly resurrected Undead, would never have to be put under the spotlight again. No, they just had to make sure they didn't have the life.. or unlife choked out of them by the many gangs, orders, and systems warring beneath the shining surface of Derwulan.
