They have said the worst curse is to live in interesting times.   The world was damaged, but it has repaired itself and Magic has returned. Major imbalances have been found in the world and it has been reset to the last state that was recorded before the planet was damaged. Changes that are familiar, because it feels like a game, shake the world. Because somethings are ingrained so deep, that even without realising it we repeat them. As if yearning for something that has been lost.
