The year is 2070 something. Humanity has finally managed to colonize space despite their regressive squabbling. As the space station at Mars (the first deep space venture by human colonists) is finally up and running, humanity is suddenly put on the inevitable extinction list as Earth is obliterated by a reality breaking meteor zipping though the galaxy.  Some stories aren't connected to one another, but all of them exist in this post-Earth universe.
