From the Silk Road to Venice From Marco Polo's Treasure to Genghis Khan's Tomb From Yuan Dynasty Khitan Princess to Mysterious Ancient Society 720-year’s Space-Time Distance 10-day’s Trip to an Exotic Country 1 Sad&Sweet Love Story between a Bird and a Fish A historical fiction has two plots running in parallel that take place in Venice in 2010 and along the Silk Road in 1290 respectively.  Dan Brown style adding more romance. Attention to the historical details: the protagonists in my novel are real figures in the history and most of them are documented in the Cambridge History of China (…or have their own wikipedia page:). However, I will take the liberty to imagine and invent their lives and stories besides the official records of historiographers.
