John saved the world, dying in the process. Fortunately for him, the System rewards saving the world. Unfortunately for him, the rewards only come after he dies.  Johann gets to enjoy the kind of power and good fortune that he could only dream of thanks to the actions of his previous life. Sadly, John didn't leave him only good stuff when he died, he also left him the kind of enemies who can't be satisfied just killing him the once.   Standard reincarnation into game-like world with plenty of humor. If you enjoy authors like Michael Douglas or Terry Pratchett then this is a book for you. If you're hoping for dark or grimdark, there are plenty of good novels other than this one that you should try. Slight cultivation influence but mostly the standard RPG system type genre. Plenty of quirky characters, dungeons and laughter with the occasional bit of seriousness. Some profanity but not excessive.
