Gracie has spent summers on The Escape with her aunt since forever. This year started like every other: sneaking treats to a great dog, hanging out on the farm, and watching good movies. There might even be a cute boy in the picture. After a tragic car accident, the hidden worlds her aunt has been protecting her from violently enter her life - and now she has to figure out how to escape the people who want to take her aunt's last gift away from her.  This is a short prologue to the StarSones Saga: a world where craftspeople, artists, and curators work together to protect a magical world where dogs can talk, dreams come to life, and there's a war brewing that may destroy the universe.
