Prologue (Rewritten)
Feng Village, in the dark of the night,
It was a cold evening during winter; inside a big mansion, a woman was in labor. The woman was exhausted, as she was giving the final push for the baby to be born. It must be said that it was indeed a troublesome baby. During the pregnancy, Shui Ling was craving for all sorts of fancy and expensive foods.
She grew up slim and graceful and was wedded to the Feng Family second Lord, Feng Kong, precisely because of her appearance. Now she looked more like a fat whale than the woman he was madly enamored with.
Before he was even born, she made a firm decision in her mind to call him Chanzui (glutton), as he was definitely the most extravagant baby in Bing Prefecture these last years.
She was sweating profusely as she gave the last stroke.
"Yanran, take the baby and clean him up!" Feng Yange said emotionally to a teenage girl beside Shui Ling.
"Yes, grandmother." replied the teenage girl who happily rushed to accomplish the task. She was holding on the baby like the most precious of jewels.
"Kong'er come in, your son is waiting for you." Said the old woman.
Feng Kong opened the door and looked at his wife before he embraced the baby. "I, Feng Kong finally have a son, haha, as agreed with Ling'er this troublemaker shall be called Feng Chanui!" He was laughing foolishly and almost spurted on the poor little boy.
"What a healthy baby, he is almost as big as a pig. I wonder what sort of lifestyle he was having in his previous life." the old woman said, trying to hide her joy. It happened that she had a lot of grandchildren as she was blessed with a good daughter in law, but this little devil was only her third grandson.
"Mother, don't t hide your joy. This is a fortunate event, and you should rejoice that this guy is so healthy as he seems to be suited for cultivation." Shui Ling was watching on the sides and trying to plead for this cute monster.
"Hmph, this guy was born a few minutes ago, and you already know how to discriminate! Good mother that you are..." Feng Yange was putting on an aggressive appearance, but she couldn't help to betray her feelings.
Finally, after a long while, the mother was left alone with her newborn. They all went to make preparations for the feast and inform the respective members of the Feng Clan.
Feng Chanui, watched as his mother was falling asleep, as he laid there close to her, with eyes as sharp as those of a hawk. If anyone saw this scene, they would think that this baby was some old codger in disguise, plotting against the poor exhausted woman.

They wouldn't be entirely wrong except for the plotting part. Feng Chanui wasn't your ordinary newborn, and the reason he was watching his mother with such a fierce gaze was that she named him; "Chanui."
In his previous life, Chanyui was a rich and pampered young master. He was born into a wealthy occidental family and lived a rather lavish lifestyle. Porsche, Ferrari, eating sumptuous food daily was nothing extravagant.
He wasn't used to hard work, and he was also a genius to add to the unfairness.
Chanui never went to school, for starters. His parents early found by the time he was in kindergarten, that he was very good with numbers. When he was 3, he could already solve advanced math problems. By age 10, this outrageous fellow was helping his father with his company's accounting. He was indeed outstanding, but the heavens were never giving things without change.
He never had friends and was self-centered in his previous life, He lived for himself and never had anyone he could count on, at least until he met with Tanya. She was the most beautiful flower the world could give birth to. Her beauty was unrivaled, and she attracted the young scion's attention.
He met her during a trip he took to Russia and soon they got married at age 22.
Those were the most beautiful times of his life. His father would only need him to take care of that big firm's financial issues, and cash would rain on both of them as they traveled the world.
Tanya was your typical "gold digger" as they call it, and he would soon realize that she was the one flower he didn't like the most; the rose. She would tear his heart apart with her dreadful thorns.
That woman had worked her magic on him, but it didn't take him long to get back to reality.
Chanui found out that the delicious woman was having affairs in every country they stopped by on their adventure. She had been toying around with his feelings and money, designing elaborate and subtle plans to repeatedly wear green hats. There was never any genuine feelings on her end, just cold contempt and deceit...She had found her golden goose and took advantage of it as long as she could.
He couldn't understand how he let such a fickle woman toy around with his feelings. He was so mesmerized that he ignored all the red lights...
He soon filed for divorce and went home to explain the betrayal to his parents. However, what he found when he got home was beyond his scope of tolerance and understanding.
He found his mother in bed with his uncle, doing things that he could never erase from his mind to this day...
Right at that moment, Feng Chanui changed. He snapped, and laughed madly, totally ready to butcher his uncle. His despair, anger, and disgust were so intense that he didn't even fudge. He knew he had become someone else at that moment...
He acted on impulse and unconsciously ran to the kitchen and back up with a sharp knife, the one his mother faithfully used to cut vegetables, ironically enough.
His mother was crying and begging him not to kill the bastard. Before he could muster the courage to go into action, that low life sucker-punched him, grabbed the weapon, and ended his life.
He still had the vivid memory of his mother's distasteful sobs. It looked as if she was feeling more guilt than sadness as his life was fading.
He was cursing them both as loud as he could while puking large mouthfuls of blood...But no matter how angry he was, his body was weakening. As his eyes were closing, he felt so much grief and regret, that he could have killed someone with his stubborn gaze. How he wished he could have gone back in time...But now it was too late.
Feng Chanui made a secret vow to himself as he watched Shui Ling sleeping peacefully to never trust any woman again, even if she happened to be his own mother.
As he made this vow, he suddenly heard a "Ding!" like the sound inside his mind :
"You have successfully been reborn and crossed over to the Tianyang Continent."
"Congratulations on having acquired your Bloodline ability **Pragmatist mole**!!"
"This ability will help the host investigate, excavate, and unearth, people's minds, possessions, and examine things with surgical accuracy."
"Host now acquires drops, from defeated foes or friends. The drop rate is 50% for normal items, and 10% for rare ones."
"The nature of dropped items, ranges from weapons and armor, medicines, to cultivation techniques, skills, bloodlines, and inheritances. The randomness of drops changes according to the specific target."
"You have an innate talent to detect any ill intent towards you and your loved ones."
"What the hell is this?..." Feng Chanui suddenly hit the jackpot without realizing how.
