In a land far, far away, in a time long past, there were two countries that existed side-by-side: Albion and Cathay. One hunted dragons and worshiped those who slew them; the other revered the dragons and abhorred their killers. Such were their natures and the two could not be reconciled. Their gods fled them, and the people saw the signs in the cracks in the soil, the drying of the rivers, and the unending gales. And then, most absurdly, the people start to hear that their royal families have taken to having affairs with the members of the enemy state! Truly, the world is going to hell.One day, two amnesiacs awoke after being fished out of the Lethe, the River of Forgetfulness. One was a fox spirit and the other a young man with the blood of a despised people. On a whim, the fox spirit decided to protect the young man and set out on a journey to find their identities.What were their identities? How did they fall into the river into the first place?
