Earth’s oceans rose, slowly covering all 7 continents — forcing humanity to adapt by building upward. Now those lucky enough to get work in a government-run lab get to scour the deep waters for resources and hints that might help them prevent it from happening again.  On one such trip, Jareth Asket spots something that supposedly died out decades before he was born. When he catches up, he finds more than he ever bargained for and becomes desperate to find someone who will believe him.
