Picking the moon affinity on the orb she had received Lunetta felt a new affinity appear inside her body, the [Normal Affinity of the Pale Moon] it felt like a calmer version of her greater affinity of the silver moon. She doesn't really have much of a use for it, but it looked nice.
She felt her world spin as her body also became more powerful, though only slightly. Every affinity granted a tiny bit of strength, so the more is better. With a sigh she felt herself get swept into some kind of forest. She looked around for a while in mild confusion. She can't recognize any of her surroundings.
Thinking that the teleportation mage or whoever set this up was so useless that they can't even do a basic returnpoint, she set out to find wherever the fuck she is. Climbing a nearby cliff she can see over the pale trees with blue leaves. Why were the leaves blue?
She tried to eat one of the leaves and felt somewhat restored. One mana and one hitpoint up later she looked for any recognizable landmarks. Walking to a beach she felt the sand, then upon realizing that she doesn't know how to navigate beaches, kicked the sand. The only thing this accomplished was to get her extremely clean hair, dirty.
"I need a bath." She says out loud to nobody in particular. After walking along the beach she decides that it might be a good time to train her swordsmanship a bit. Finding a nice flat level she begins to practice her form, going from one movement to the other, although the movements aren't seamless yet.
After an hour of sweating she coughs a bit and breathes heavily, finding a lead she goes follows it until she approaches another part of the forest.
Upon her arrival to a rather shady party of the forest, one that was denser than usual, she scoured the place to find people that would help build her settlement up. She did find a few interesting fellows, some of them were kind of... Bland? Two women and five men stood before her. The women were elemental warriors while the men were all scribes, except one being an elder mage of sorts.
Why were they all scribes? They somehow survived with their knowledge. They all had arrogant expressions, wielding different weapons they didn't know how to use. She had watched them fight and the only way they won was because of the sheer confusion they created due to their fumbling.
A master need not fear another master for they fight the same fight, work on the same level. A master should fear the apprentice, the novice, for an unexpected over-extension might cause their end.

The women were more humble and they actually knew how to fight, their fights were shorter and more efficient and they didn't rely on unknown circumstances to sway the battle in their favor, one of the men stepped forward, a tome appeared in his hand. "My wives are beautiful aren't they?" The women shot him a glare.
One of them stepped up and started beating the man until he was on the ground. "Stop messing around." She spat. The scribe now had an additional bruise on his cheek and a few other light ones. She could tell that likely there was some kind of interpersonal relationships that kind of worked, but also not very well. A smile appeared on her lips when she greeted them.
"My name is Lunetta, I came here to rescue you from the clutches of the gnolls." She looked at the pile of gnoll corpses and at the tome wielding scribe, the staff wielding scribe and finally the torch wielding scribe. The torch wasn't lit and the scribe held it at the cloth for a better grip she guessed. One of her hopes was that he wouldn't set himself on fire.
The man with the tomb looks at her with a glare, "You came too late. What do you want?" She blinked at his incredibly straight forward approach and with a cough to disrupt the tense atmosphere spoke.
"I'd like you to help me build a settlement, I need some labor to help build, and while that's going I'll be going on a trip to Seven Fall Academy to talk about war plans and the sorcerer. Mind helping?" She asked in a formal dignified tone. "Oh, you'll be allowed to live there, and be under the protection of a higher grade human."
This drew their attention quite splendidly. They talked in a hushed circle. The scribes were doing their job quite well with the recording bit of it. This meeting was quite important for their, and her, future. With a nod they all stood up and one spoke, "We agree, but on the terms that we receive an average annual salary once the beginnings have been constructed."
A strange clause since they wouldn't be working anymore, but acceptable. She had quite a bit of money and paying them wouldn't be difficult, "Accepted, though I would like you to have active jobs then, otherwise there would be no sustainable income for either of us." They nodded and Lunetta, the scribe leader and the leader of the elemental mages shook hands. This was a new beginning.

"We might have to be careful though, there are a lot of threats nearby. For instance there's a forest a bit aways from here that has an illusion field, that works on humans up to [G] grade or so, from what I know. We might need to contact the Seven Swords to help clear out the resident warlock, once we have power." Lunetta says somewhat repeating herself, but going into more detail.
A man walks over to her, he is the elder mage from their little party, "Good to meet you lady, the name's Voluk I wish we could be in good service to you and let us bring plenty of destruction on our enemies together." He had a pretty nice smile for an old guy, but in it lay a threat. If she hurt his disciples she would regret it
Lunetta shrugged and shook his hand with a polite and kind smile, she didn't want to face this man's wrath, if a scribe could beat the monsters with a book, she shuddered to think what the mages or the elder mage could do.
