10 Challengers, pillars holding them on their own little spaces, an ethereal blue cage is preventing them from leaving their designated spots as the world prepares them for the tournament, hunger games style. Lunetta looked around at the contestants, some looked more rugged, some more dark, one stood out from them all, it was a man with a pair of blue eyes and blonde hair.
Upon catching her glance he gave her a polite grin, but under that warm facade lay a viciousness that she didn't want to meet.

After a while of waiting the world finally opened up about the challenge.
In the core of this simulation there is a bunch of gear, the one that gets the best gear, wins.
And with that they were let out immediately, some took a moment to collect themselves, Lunetta was already running. It took her [Moon Body] enhanced self only a few moments to get to the middle, she noted that the blonde man was already there and he hadn't even broken a sweat, he takes out a long curved blade that seems very menacing.
When Lunetta finally go there he had already gone off, she took out a long sword, a type of sword she was already familiar with before leaving herself, she took a quick glance behind her seeing her enemies going to collect their loot. The important thing wasn't just getting a powerful weapon, the weapon also needed to work with you, failing that it's useless.
If a shield bearer ended up being forced to wield an axe there would simply be no way for them to exercise their skills, since those relied on them actually having a shield. They would basically be trying to defend with an axe which would in theory, very hypothetically speaking, be a really bad idea. She couldn't pinpoint any sources, but her intuition thinks this is the case.
It wasn't long until some loud sounds of clanging and explosions could be heard, before she could reach one of those places, a man with a bit of a goatee approached her, he had an axe in one hand and a shield in another, he seems fairly confident in his abilities.
"Give up or your pretty little body is going to get caved in." He gives her a 'kind' smile. 'Screw this douche' Lunetta thinks.
Taking a moment to compose herself from her earlier sprint, she pushes ten percent of her mana into her Moon Body, and some into her footwork, this leaves her with around sixty percent of her mana, but that speed was worth it, kinda. She literally blitzed in front of him, amazed by her own speed she couldn't get a strike on him and ended up stumbling and falling.
"Ow" She said getting up tending to her little scrape wounds on her hands. "So that's how it's going to be." The man shrugged and threw his axe, Lunetta having half of an idea of what he's trying to do, starts running towards him, before dodging his axe, her Moon Body disabled at this point, she needed to learn to control the speed of both of her abilities.
Why not activate Moon Body? She was already pretty tired even at sixty percent Mana. She would need to rest a bit before expending more of it, some kind of tolerance threshold or something. With a bit of weave she dives behind the man looking back to where she stood, lo and behold her hypothesis was correct. The man's axe was boomeranging, if that's a word, towards her.
Since she was now behind him, he was kind of screwed. With a sadistic grin Lunetta started to attack the man rapidly without stop, her attacks weren't powerful or very fast just high in number, this meant he couldn't move that much. When he noticed how close his axe was he got more desperate and managed to [Shield Bash] Lunetta in the face.

That wasn't very pleasant, she saw stars and felt blood in her mouth. The asshole broke her nose, well she did kind of deserve it. Rolling out of the way of an axe chop she used [Moon Slash] with relatively little mana, it still did it's job forcing the fella back a bit, and with a bit of luck a little cut appeared on his hand.
The man startled looked at the wound and it's silvery glow, seeing this Lunetta kicked the man in the place where the sun doesn't shine. This left him whimpering in pain before she decapitated him. His body disappeared to return in the real world, he had failed miserably.
Wiping her forehead she looks for a place to rest up, her Mana had fallen to 59% during the fight and she didn't like that at all. She went to a nearby tree and fell down on the shaded ground under it, resting her body that felt like it was throbbing all over. Her hand was in the worst condition since she had used her moon slash against the person and he mostly blocked it.
Force had to go somewhere and that somewhere was her poor fingers and hand. She massaged her hand for a while, and noticed it didn't really do anything then stopped. She takes a deep breath then with determined effort she scans the area before closing her eyes and going into a meditative state, she'd have preferred to sleep, but sleeping was a privilege in such a challenge.

David was mowing down the cowards in the competition, one of them still in front of him shaking and holding a mace with some kind of tiny shield, this little bastard had been on the wrong end of the competition and had gotten quite unlucky, or rather he was slow. He was weak. And David would help him improve, but first he needed to kick this little crybaby out of here.
David did actually kick him in the ass, hard enough to crush his internal organs before disappearing, the fight wasn't really mentionable, just the kid charging up to David and getting slapped in the face, David didn't even need to use his broadsword for them it was just that easy. He would sidestep the kid then kick his feet from under him and move back, giving them another chance.
He gave him three chances before he literally killed him with his kick in the rear, though it's a simulation so the kid will be fine. With a sigh of regret and longing David looks around his area, he is in a field of tall grass and can spot a hill from where he was, he went to that hill and kept himself low, eyeing any prey that might end up in his sights.

Corey had found himself decked out in so much armor he could barely move, his curved blade was extremely good at breaking armor so he had theorized that having thick armor would make him unbeatable. Well, he would be beaten soon by his own stupidity. He cursed himself internally for doing this and fought a rather swift fellow that wasn't all that good.
But he had stupidly armored himself to the teeth in plate, he looked like a medieval knight fighting a duelist, it wasn't going well. He contemplated trying to run away and remove his vice, but due to the circumstances he couldn't. A swift jab from the man caught him on the chest, piercing the shitty heavy armor and stabbing into him before pulling out.
There was a saying from a famous strategist, "Know your enemy and know yourself and you will win in every battle, if you know the enemy and not yourself you will lose in some battles, if you know neither the enemy or yourself you will succumb to every battle - Sun Tsu"
Corey had no idea who this lucker was, and he was that, extremely bloody lucky, if he hadn't put on this bedeviled armor he would've crushed this guy's windpipe or ripped him to pieces with his curved sword, but all he is now is just a target. He looked around the sandy place they were. He hated deserts.

Lunetta awoke and finally managed to take a look at her surroundings, earlier she had been interrupted by that goatee guy, she was in a forest of sorts, kind of. There was a little valley where she is in now with quite a bit of trees, then forest from one direction and some more thickening of trees in the other direction.
Not the ideal place to fight someone in, but it worked, they were both at a disadvantage. Then she felt eyes on her, with quick tumble she rolled away looking for any arrows or other projectiles to hit where she was. Nothing. She looked to the place where she felt it from, nothing. Maybe her skill was malfunctioning? Or maybe someone had seen her.
Then she felt something quite surprising. Hunger. She needed to eat something, and maybe get a drink with it, looking around again she found a rabbit staring at her. "That'll have to do" She says softly.
