[Treant Level 10] Oh, really? She didn't bother and just slashed it with a full powered [Moonlit Slash] she didn't put all of her Mana into it, but it seemed to overwhelm something, and it fell apart without damaging her. 'So there is a way to beat it?' She laughed. She had suffered quite a bit under this technique of the wooden walkers.
That was all it took. Probably the most boring level by far. And thus she walked onto the next level "Free For All" stood above the next door, she opened it, and wasn't surprised to see nobody there yet. She took a seat and looked at her credits, these past levels had given her a bit each.

That's quite a bit, considering a beer is around 20 of them, some are less, but she guessed those were crap. She ordered something similar to a British Indian Pale Ale, then sipped on it waiting. It didn't help that she had shit alcohol tolerance, even with her poison resistance gained from her scorpion friend, so she got drunk quite quickly, ordered some water and continued sipping trying to stay lucid while enjoying the drink.
The first person to arrive, arrived in a roll. Of course it's that guy. She looked at him with no surprise. It had taken him eight long hours to kill that wood thing. He seemed quite tired and when he looked up and saw her sitting there, bored and drinking random beer made by an intergalactic entity, he seemed to accept his fate. He walked up and tried to order a beer, then frowned.
"I have no credits." He mouthed, irritated. He gave her a pointed look. She smiled sheepishly and ordered him a cheap beer. He didn't have much of an understanding when it comes to prices so he accepted it without reluctance. His face screwed up when he took a sip and she almost snorted hers. it stayed cool in the cup so she could drink on it for quite a while, with magic creating a bubble to contain the alcohol and foam.
"It tastes like shit." He spoke, confirming her earlier assumption. She solemnly agreed but kept drinking in small sips. He wasn't an enemy, but she honestly didn't want to waste her limited credits on buying beer for everyone so she would be a tiny bit selfish. They both waited in silence interrupted by one speaking of random things.
Finally the next person emerged, he was a shady looking guy with a dark hood. He nodded towards the guy next to her, but seemed to simply not care about her existence. "How'd you do" He came to sit with the guy and asked with interest, ignoring her completely. "Well it went quite well. I got it done in eight hours." He admitted honestly. The assassin was quite impressed and they shook hands.
They continued to talk on a bit, she honestly didn't mind too much, she was quite dizzy so she was scared she'd spill some kind of secret in this state. She had finished her beer by now and was mostly waiting out the after effects. Soon once everyone had returned they all gathered up with the assassin taking the lead.
"No matter what happens next, we divide the spoils, I get half the split, the rest of you figure it out yourselves." He spoke seriously, giving no room for rebuttals. But why would she take this bullshit? "Not happening, I take everything then I'll divide it among my allies." She spoke and blushed a tiny bit, it was quite a ruthless and biased statement.
The assassin snorted, "No, little miss that's not how it works." he lectured, but before he could continue on a raging torrent of moonlight energy headed his way cutting gorges in the ground during it's travel. He hopped to the side with ease before seeing another come, then another. Soon his vision was filled with them. 'What the fuck is this whore doing?' He thought.

Lunetta kept swinging. After her level ups and her passive she was quite a bit stronger. Maybe "bit" was a shitty way to describe it. She could keep swinging like this all day, probably until the day she died. Her expenditure matched her consumption. She was of course using her moonlit slash, but why make it easy for that piece of shit?
She amped up the power with each strike, causing them to become larger and more destructive. Soon he couldn't dodge anymore and was knocked back. A bit of moonlight energy created a cut on his arm. "Hey let's calm down!" A bystander screamed. She completely ignored him. This was a personal issue, and she had personal means to do it.
So she kept swinging, larger cracks appeared in the ground and the area was actually being transformed into a moon affinity zone. It was good for her, mainly because she could convert between moon affinity and unattuned Mana quite easily. Although the assassin was skilled at dodging, she made no attempt to use the skills she had, she only kept making the attacks faster, harder and more powerful.
The assassin didn't last too long after a certain breakpoint and laid on the ground panting, riddled with scars of moonlight. She walked up to him and looked down at him. "Why?" He asked. "We could have worked things out..." He groaned an excuse. Not taking his bullshit she nicked his back where moonlight hadn't spread, each bit of moonlight wound responded by pouncing towards that area.
Although it was painful, it was more a warning than anything, she could make this more painful, but she had targeted a rather tame spot above his arm. For her it was either warn or kill, and although he was quite evil he hadn't caused her many issues yet, so she decided to nip it in the bud before it could sprout.
"I'm powerful enough to take everyone here, and I'm also growing fast enough to be confident in doing that in the future." She smiled at him, "Why should I take your shit?" She asked, pondering. She had decided already that if he made another move against her in anyway it would spell out his doom. She didn't do anything more and got up walking to the next room.
She had made a very large political move, it pushed others to either join her, do nothing or join her enemy, essentially becoming enemies with her. And what she had said was quite true. Her whole Mana swinging event only took her around 20% Mana. She had literally put him down with sheer resources rather than skill or raw power. It was quite funny.
The next room, "Free For All" sounded quite nice. Around 80% of all people were freeloaders and after getting rid of them all it was quite a bit better. Nobody really cared about losing them, and the next fight seemed to be more focused on fighting each other, rather than the environment. Finally some action.
The room they walked into was another waiting room, with seemingly free drinks on the tables. She tasted it and it seemed to be whiskey, but it had a delicious taste of apple that somehow got through. Everyone had a long and hard fight the last time around, though she had been relaxing besides that stretch she had done against that poor guy.
She had thought to use [Moon Body] as well, but that would've been even more overkill, and besides the latter part of the word might ring true. She wanted it to be a warning rather than anything too bad. He seemed to already be recovering, though giving her weary, but still disrespectful looks. It seemed he was checking her out. No wonder she wanted to kill him so bad, the guy is bad news through and through.
She was glad that she had gotten self repair on her clothes, everything that had gotten damaged was the self repair kind of variety, it would really suck to have to make a new bra mid tournament. So she hoped to have it hold up before beginning her journey into making invincible underwear and clothing. Being exposed didn't feel good. She gave the fuck a death glare and he looked away.
She was going to make sure to make his life a little extra difficult during the next competition. She had her ways, and thus she began scheming. When the assassin noticed this he almost shat himself, but of course she didn't know that. He had at that moment decided to compete with everything he had, in order to not lose out too much.
There was a palpable tension between the two of them. He was like a firefly compared to the moon, but everyone seemed to want to side with the underdog for some odd reason, she let them. She had made her connections early and she didn't care about how they act at this stage, unless they directly work against her.
The birdmask man was out. They had never even managed to get their plan working, aw well.
