Getting up from her wallowing in self pity and the divine pressure she had found herself under. Her little rest had done wonders. If you keep taking damage until you drop, you're going to drop faster than if you took breaks in between. That's her philosophy in this, though she did believe that she would eventually recover.
She stepped onto the stone stage that held the trial, in front of her was a wooden dummy and an old man. Wait, an old man? Did he watch her sleep, and how come she didn't notice him? The man stood still as a stick. Betting against herself, she eventually placed a steak. 4:1 odds on him being a creep. She moved deftly and punched him in the face.
The old man did not expect this, and she had imbued some Moon Affinity into her punch. The old man now had a sparkly bruise on his cheek and his expression turned dark. He opened his eyes ready to confront the perpetrator, he jumped forming an illusionary fist in midair before striking her core.
She shook violently as the electric-like waves pulsed around in her body, he seemed to be urging her to step back and eventually she did. "You stand against the great deceiver? Have you no shame?" He wasn't angered by getting punched, but his honor as attacked, as one of the Great Deceiver's chosen ones. "The axis will hunt you down." He said furiously.
He shook his head and spoke more reserved, "You know why you are here correct?"
"You know that the Axelord is my patron, correct?"
The man looked at her quite strangely, then he frowned. "You dare blasphemy?"
Another punch came for the man, he was getting worked up. "Answer, heretic!"
The man got close and punched again, Lunetta avoided it and pulled out her sword. Although they had a short interaction, she felt respect for the god she had met, kind of like making a friend, and the friend in question being introverted and sad. She stepped back for a moment and sent a whistle up to him mentally.
"What is it disciple?" The Deceiver asked.
"Call me disciple again and I'll punch you in the balls" she added mentally. Knowing the path the god took and feeling familiar with him, she wasn't going to play silly games.
"Fine, what's wrong?" His tone changed a bit, quite a lot less overbearing.
"Do you like this old man in front of me?" A bit of a pause.
"No, he's a stuck up fuck. I was going to kick his ass anyway, he also has no use for the axis." He answered.
"Axis?" She asked.
"Yes, my association is called the Axis of the Deceiver, or just the axis" He replied.
The man in front of her seemed a bit shocked, emotions flashed from grief, to rage. "What did you say?!" He demanded.
"Say to who?" She asked.
"The Great One." He spoke the name with respect.
The world turned frosty and she flowed forward using her lesser water affinity, before the man could react a blade was already heading towards it's throat. A deep gouge was scored. The next thing that happened was the most unexpected, it was like she had ejected herself from the state. This was perfect. She stopped at that moment where she stood.
The man didn't seem to want to give her a break, it stepped closer charging up a punch.
"Can you hold for a moment? I just got a moment of enlightenment, not entirely sure that they were enemies in the first place." She spoke, still concentrating.
It didn't seem to listen anymore and the punch came anyway. She was so concentrated she was sent flying, her health had reached the halfway point, it seemed he really wanted to kill her. A chaotic destructive force ravaged through her body, it was also rapidly draining her health. But luckily for her the prick sent her flying into the safe zone.
It barreled over and started furiously hitting the defensive barrier, sparks, lightning and an aura of destruction was unleashed in full fury. Now she was determined to end him.
Novice Swordsmanship[Common]: You've learnt how to use a sword, well done.
Novice Water Footwork[Common]: You've channeled water into your feet, well done.
So easy? Currently she was meditating quite relaxed right now, she was just glad that the old master hadn't smashed her tit in. A caved in stomach still hurts like absolute hell, but just the thought of such a pain made her wonder if she'd simply die from the pain before her health plummeted to zero. She didn't know if that's a possibility, but she did not want to find out.
After twelve hours of recovery, her vitality was starting to lag a bit behind her endurance and strength, endurance mostly. Strength only somewhat impacted her recovery. She got up, the man was still staring at her with hatred, she shared the look and stepped out of the barrier separating them. She had started to refer to "him" as "it" in her head, mainly due to her hatred.

She converted some of her mana into water affinity mana, noticing that she now had two types of mana. Obviously. Now add on some moon affinity mana she converted and she now had three types of mana. She created a wave beneath her feet using the water mana, like she had done before, and noted it went quite smooth, her footwork sped up with water allowing her to slide and grip at certain points.
She slid from one of his attacks and struck out with [Moonlight Slash] creating a small cut on his chest, a few more soon appeared. Her footwork constantly changed, this wasn't a battle, this was simply a wolf hunting her prey. His chest was quite lit up at this stage, but after a bit it noticed something going wrong, his chest was feeling heavier and the wounds got worse with each addition, but soon she discovered a way to use the moon mana to make her weapon sharper.
She did that as well, her attacks became stronger against her enemy the longer she went. She did do something very stupid though, she poured all her mana into one strike, or rather the fourty percent that was left. It left a blinding deep gash on the man's back. It cried out in pain. Now she had no mana remaining, great.
Now it's time for... It closed in and tried to get an uppercut, [Hilt Strike] it was knocked back, and a bruise was formed on his chin. it tried every maneuver it could think of, but the hilt kept coming for him, time and time again. Finally it charged at her and ten fists punched out. Using water footwork with the tiny bit of water mana she had left, she dodged just a bit, but one blow still hit her. She couldn't avoid it all due to her shortage of mana.
Her situation wasn't looking all that good:
Health: 135/391
Mana: 2/330
Stamina: 84/310
The man had started smiling after her moon cuts stopped, though she could still feel the power in them, they were a bit harder to heal due to them interlocking and making other cuts stronger, the one on his back was the strongest. It went in for the kill with an explosive jump, she held her sword in front of her, if she died she would be impaling him at least. This made him change his mind and it redirected the force.
She used her [Hilt Strike] to redirect him into the wall. It clambered up, his eyes were bloodshot. Though it didn't look all too hurt besides the shiny slashes on him. "Heathen. Heretic. Die." It exploded forward once more, it was quite determined this time, to even end it at a cost. What was the cost of one follower to the prestige of their god?
She hadn't regenerated enough mana for her to avoid this attack, [Hilt Strike] was likely not enough to counteract this. Therefore she ducked, rolled and used her blade's sharp end to block a potential blow. Sadly for her, the man was too determined and she shot straight into a wall, parts of her spine cracking and breaking, at least six ribs were shattered. Her health was sitting around 10% right now.
The man walked over, not caring for the baneful moon slashes on him, when it stood over her gazing down she looked and gave him a smile, it was quite a good, but hopeless fight. She suspected it was at the edge of G grade, or maybe even in F grade. They stared at each other for a while, "So, you blasphemy my god, and this is all you can do?" It stepped down and shattered her leg into blood and bits of bone.
She would scream, but it was just like it was missing, it felt so strange, she still looked into his eyes.It had purposefully hit her away from where she could stay to recover. It put his foot above her left leg, "No words, heretic?"
The lines of moon affinity were quite deeply burrowed into him, they were very dense at this stage, although they could be removed over time, especially with its higher grade, the end result would still be unpleasant, it was likely stalling since it took quite a bit of energy to move with such a heavy body.
She still had some Stamina, so she shot up with her arms, it seemed ready for this though, so a punch came, she worked to block it with her blade. She used [Parry] his attack was redirected, she had quite a bit of mastery in swordsmanship and the sword at this stage, and parry wasn't just something she pulled out of her ass.
She then slashed into its eyes, leaving a shallow wound there, but that was all it took. The moonlight from all the areas in its body reached towards the slash, although the tendrils reaching were weaker since the slash was, the one on his back offset the effect and it acted like a normal moon wound, rather than a weak or strong one, both strengths averaged out.
Now it was on its back squealing like a pig. Although this went against her way of doing shit, she physically couldn't put it out of its misery, so she lumbered over to her safe area and started meditation. Her leg was recovering, although very, very slowly.
