A cold look came across the plump disciple's face as he spoke in a cold voice.
“Jian Li and Jian Chen, is it? It's a pleasure to meet you. I'm Lin Jun, one of the core disciples. I would be very happy to show my respect for your elder sister by teaching you a lesson.", Lin Jun said with a malicious smile on his face then turned to specifically look towards Jian Li.
"Enough, Jun. Give these two new core disciples some space to learn by themselves or leave.", an elder called out as he came walking towards the group of elders and disciples. Lin Jun turned to look at the elder with some surprise.
The elder was a rather handsome man, which was easily visible by his looks. He had long black hair and sharp features. He had a rather decent build as well.
"What are you doing, Senior Lu?", Lin Jun asked with some annoyance and continued to talk.
"Why would we let two newbies have a free pass? And this Elder Jian Ye, didn't you and the others say that she isn't use-", Lin Jun got interrupted as a painful slap echoed in the room.
"I said enough, Lin Jun!", the elder said angrily as Lin Jun started rubbing his cheek.
"You can leave now, Lin Jun. Don't come back until you can show clear respect towards Honorary Elder Jian Ye. Understood?", the elder shouted out when Lin Jun was still rubbing his cheek.
Lin Jun groaned as he confusedly looked back at him.
"Understood, Senior Lu. I won't come back until I can show my respect to Honorary Elder Jian Ye.", Lin Jun said with a nod as he swallowed hard, then turned around to walk out of the training hall.
Jian Li couldn’t make out what he was saying, but it felt like he was muttering curses and insults under his breath until he exited the room.
Elder Lu spoke up again.
"My fellow elders, please excuse this disciple's rash words. He didn't know any better. I will make sure he understands his mistake.", Elder Lu said with some embarrassment.
A few of the other elders and even disciples gloatingly smiled at him.
"Before we continue, I would like to publicly apologize to Honorary Elder Jian Ye for any disrespect that Lin Jun may have shown towards her. I can assure you that it won't happen again.", Elder Lu said as he slightly stepped back.

He Yu seemed slightly disappointed as if she was expecting a spectacle like this to happen in the first place.
“Please I beg of you, please teach him and the other core disciples to show the proper respect towards Honorary Elder Jian Ye and these disciples or I will make sure to teach them myself.", He Yu said with a condescending look.
The other elders in the room grinned back at Elder Lu and nodded.
"We'll make sure to teach them proper respect then. Either way, we would like to welcome you to the True Sword Sect. Please sit down and we will begin your training in the Art of the True Sword.", Elder Lu said as he bowed respectfully.
The other elders in the room followed his example. He Yu smiled and nodded her head as a chair was pushed towards her.
"Thank you, Elder Lu.", He Yu said kindly as she sat down. Jian Li and Jian Chen followed her lead as they sat down beside her.
The other elders started to whisper among themselves as they sat down. Elder Lu turned towards the other elders and started to explain the rules of the True Sword Art.
"First and foremost, we shall start with the basic moves. I know most of you have practised it before, but I want to ensure that you remember everything so you can keep up with all of the techniques that come from them in the future.", Elder Lu said as he started to pull a pair of swords from under his robe which had some kind of black material wrapped around the blades.
They seemed like they materialized out of thin air.
"This is made from Blacksteel and that makes it much heavier on the one side but has superior crushing power because of it.
The stronger the black steel is, the heavier it is to carry around. I want you to start practising with this.", Elder Lu said as he handed the first sword to Jian Li who nodded her head and took the black steel sword in her hands.
The black cloth-like material wrapped around the sword as the blade became dull. Even if the sword was as large as the others she was used to wielding, it still felt good for Jian Li to hold a heavier sword again.
"I want all of you to practice with these and I'll explain what you have to do when the time comes.", Elder Lu said as he started to draw the other sword from his tunic.
"This is the Whitesteel sword. It is the most lightweight and the sharpest. It doesn't take a lot of force to move around with it. As I said, it is the lighter of the two, but with a sharp edge that makes it much more flexible."
The black cloth-like material wrapped around the sword as it became the same colour as the sword and made it blunt.
"When you practice with both of these swords feel them in your hands and your minds. Make sure you can hold them in your hands in an instant.
Feel how the sword feels when you swing it, but always remember that when you do, it's your job to bring that sharp edge closer to the target. I'll be the first one to tell you that this is more difficult than it may seem at first.", Elder Lu said as he started to raise his arms to demonstrate some basic moves and then lowered them.
The other elders in the room also gave the other disciples either a Whitesteel or a Blacksteel sword.
The elders in the room all started to then give the dozen or so disciples some basic instructions on their first moves.
It seemed like Elder Lu was the main one in charge as he began to explain what the first moves looked like.
Jian Li and Jian Chen had already been familiarized with some of the True Sword Art by Jian Ye a long time ago, so they managed to pick up the basics quickly.
Elder Lu also explained how to move around with the swords, but he only gave basic moves and basic instructions as if he wanted each of the disciples to figure out their style and what else they had to do on their own.
Time passed quickly for both Jian Li and Jian Chen as they were too focused to even notice they were getting tired.
However, as Jian Chen seemed to be a natural at the True Sword Art, it seemed like Jian Li was not having the same luck with it as her elder brother...
