"Ok, I think I understand." Jian Chen said as Jian Ye took a deep breath.
"Just remember that you must listen to me every step of the way. I cannot lose you. I must make sure that you two are taken care of." Jian Ye said.
"I understand." Jian Li said.
"Good. Then, let's get going." Jian Ye said.
She left the small room and went back into the hallway. Jian Li and Jian Chen followed after her in silence.
After walking for a while, a white-haired elder with a beard approached Jian Ye.
"Good to see you again, Jian Ye. It's been a while. Are you here to take in some disciples?" He said. "Yes, I have brought two with me right now. They are my siblings and I personally vouch for their abilities." Jian Ye said.
"Alright then, let Elder Zhang have a look at them." The elder said impatiently.
The white-haired elder took out a jade tablet from his robe and tapped on it a few times. After a moment or two, a different white-haired elder appeared on the jade tablet.
"Greetings, Elder Ye. It's me, Elder Zhang. Please tell me your names, so I can verify your identity." Elder Zhang said.
"This is Jian Chen. He is my young brother. This is Jian Li. She is my little sister.", Jian Ye said while pointing at both of them.
"Alright. Jian Chen, do you promise to practice with the sect and devote the remainder of your life to it?" Elder Zhang asked.
"I do." Jian Chen said.
"And Jian Li, do you promise not to leave the sect?" Elder Zhang asked.
"I do." Jian Li said.
"Then, I shall mark both of you as disciples of the True Sword Sect. You may go. You'll get two rooms to stay in." Elder Zhang said. The transmission did not last a second longer as it quickly cut off. The white-haired elder put the tablet inside his robes and started to quickly walk away without saying a word.
"Thank you for contacting the elder for us!", Jian Li yelled, but she got no response as the elder went around the corner and vanished.
"That elder saved us some time, but we aren't done yet. We also have to speak to Elder Gao.", Jian Ye wasted no time and began to walk to where Elder Gao was.
They did not bump into anyone this time and they arrived at a small golden door after a short walk.
As Jian Ye opened the door, Elder Gao sat by a chair facing them. It seemed as if he was as if he was expecting their arrival.
"Greetings, Jian Ye."

"Greetings, Elder Gao. I am here with two new recruits."
"Good. You may bring them to me."
Jian Ye led Jian Chen and Jian Li to Elder Gao, who shortly bowed for him politely.
"Greetings, Jian Chen and Jian Li. I am Elder Gao. I am the sect leader's personal secretary and I oversee all the administrative affairs of the sect." Elder Gao said.
"I am Jian Chen, Ye's younger brother." Jian Chen said wearily.
"I am Jian Li, Jian Ye's little sister." Jian Li said.
"And what brings the esteemed Jian Ye back from retirement to personally watch over two young disciples?" Elder Gao said, shifting his focus from the two little siblings to Jian Ye.
"Personal matters." Jian Ye continued.
"I brought them here so that they could be disciples of the True Sword Sect. Elder Zhang has already been informed of their recruitment, so I'm here for their core disciple badges.", Jian Ye said coldly.
"Okay. Then, I shall mark both of you as core disciples of the True Sword Sect." Elder Gao grumbled as his hands began to glow with a red light. Jian Li felt slightly alarmed, but was calmed by the fact that Jian Ye did not react in any way.
"Here, take this. They are is your official True Sword Sect badges." Elder Gao said.
He made two shining red badges appear out of thin air. He grabbed them and wrote 'Jian Chen' and 'Jian Li' on them with a tiny white sword that came from his fingertips.
After finishing, Elder Gao handed the badges to Jian Chen and Jian Li. "Okay. You may go." Elder Gao said as he waved them away.
"Thank you." Jian Chen and Jian Li said.
"You're welcome. Goodbye." Elder Gao said.
Jian Chen and Jian Li walked out of the administrative room as they followed Jian Ye outside. "Chen, Li, let me see your disciple badges." Jian Ye said.
Both of them handed their badges to Jian Ye and she inspected the badges.
"Even though you may have the highest level badges a disciple can get, don't become reckless as I can't accompany you at all times. Some people don't care about rank, especially for those who got back doored into the sect. Just remember your limits and don't get overconfident." Jian Ye said.
"Yes, Ye." Jian Li said.
"Chen, since you are the oldest, you must take care of Li. You have to protect her and make sure nothing happens to her, okay?", Jian Ye said.
She paused as she made a faint white barrier of light appear around them with a wave of her hand. All background noises they previously heard, became muffled. Jian Ye usually did this when she spoke about matters she did not want anyone to know about.
"As you have seen, Father's condition has become drastically worse as he had been cursed with something resembling an Art of Death. I've already found a few people familiar with that type of Art but, being familiar with doesn't mean that they have a mastery of it. What I need you two to do is to stay out of danger and contribute as much as you can for the sect. It may mean the sect could support us with the matter at hand. Especially if what I do alone doesn't work out. The sect and I really don't have the best relations so they are our final resort.", Jian Ye said with a grim expression.
"Okay. We'll try our best." Jian Chen did not have a change in facial expression, but Jian Li could have sworn she saw him clench his fists.
"We should probably go to the dormitory first. You two will each get your own room. Outside the dormitory, there will be an arena. You two could spar with each other later if you wish." Jian Ye said.
"Alright. Let's go to the dorm first." Jian Chen said. Jian Ye led her two younger siblings to the dormitory.
On their way there, they started to spot disciples and elders alike, just minding their business. Some of them gave the siblings a confused look, as Jian Ye still held the two core disciple badges in her hands.
The dormitory for the core disciples was spacious. The dormitory had one giant room for each of the core disciples and even extra space for a servant if they ever wanted one. Jian Li was surprised that they did not bump into anyone in the hallways. But, she was even more surprised over the fact that entering a top sect like this, went basically perfectly. "If you need anything, you may ask the servants." Jian Ye said.
Jian Li felt weird. 'Was entering a top sect like the True Sword Sect meant to be this easy?', she thought to herself.
