In the year 2020, humanity changed forever; horrifying monsters began appearing, which quickly overwhelmed the world's military forces. However, within the darkness came a glint of hope. Certain people, later dubbed Beacons, began to develop supernatural powers, which allowed them to fight back against these monsters. These superhumans turned the tide of battle, giving humanity a fighting chance against the overwhelming threat. However, not all Beacons are the brave heroes that they're often depicted as. This is the story of a young woman named Heather, who suddenly awakens as a Beacon and finds herself thrust into a world she's not prepared for. Violence, unimaginable horror, and death awaits her at every turn, though her only goal is to survive. Only one thing is certain: "I Refuse To Die".
