Synopsis
A portal fantasy.
Don't have a proper synopsis yet but this kinda starts with a school arc. Then it becomes a Terrace House or housemates-like situation with interspersed visits to the (probably low fantasy) secondary world. There's a bit of magic but it'll probably be mainly about dialogue or character interactions. And building nations or groups in general. Expect lots of worldbuilding and slice of life stuff. I'm not too keen on fight scenes or war scenes, but it's a staple of the genres I want to combine, so I'll do my decent effort.
To be honest, I think it can be boiled down to: a clash of cultures. Or something along those lines.
The modern/current day situation is based around Crusader Kings Two. In particular, the Historical Immersion Project mod's 1043 bookmark. That's where the timeline "diverges." Long story short: Leon/Castile/Spain "rebuilds" the Roman Empire with the eastern/northern border stopping on the banks of the Dnieper or something in Russia. There's also some population switching and such as Spain/Hispania rearranged the world. It's where most of the slice of life stuff will occur, I guess, as the current situation in this timeline is much like ours: increasing peace.
The secondary world or alternate world is based on parts of Xianxia, Isekai, et cetera that I like. It should be somewhat original. It's studded with GameLit or LitRPG or whatever stuff too. It'll be medieval age, maybe way before the Renaissance or its equivalent. Still not sure yet, but it's for sure going to have kings, wars, and so on.
Forgive my writing, it's sourced from my idiolect. The pop culture references, relexification, or lazy writing are okay to me. But eh. I kinda just wanted to get this out there before the traditionally published LitRPG or Portal Fantasy blitz.
