Verayah is on her way to becoming a healer and making up for her parent’s sacrifices. She is about to marry her only best friend, Elizan. Everything is going as planned until one of the council members discovers the gold underneath her skin and labels her the Savior of the Lands, the chosen one who will free them from the dragons.  Everything happens so fast and she is now caught between choosing to love her best friend or the mysterious man who decided to help her, all while figuring out how to rid their world of Dragons.  Author’s Note: This is a first draft so it will most likely have common mistakes in it.
