When they mined the ore, they didn't know what had died there previously. It just looked like standard everyday metal. But, on Symphony, some magic isn't readily apparent. The ore had been imprinted by a nascent soul, its background a mystery, with no memories or knowledge of the world. All it could do was watch as its form was changed without its permission by a foul-mouthed blacksmith, deeply in debt, who only planned on selling it to the earliest bidder he could find. The sword awaits its first wielder and the adventures it would soon find itself thrust into, literally and figuratively. This isn't a story of a hero, nor a villain. It is not the story of an anti-hero or a slice of proverbial life. It's the story of a bastard sword, one who watches all but cannot be heard, and it's only interest is in watching the blood of others slide down its blade.  Angry sword! Sad sword! Sharp sword!
