What to Expect in this Book: Slow Burn: I don't write cartoons. This story is heavy on character development. Things take time to roll out and I'm fine with that. But I think you'll find that once the ball starts rolling, ain't nothin gonna stop it. Progression Tag: This story is not a video game rendered in words. You will not see floating screens unless the character is wearing VR or AR glasses, which do exist and work rather well in this universe. The progression is real and it comes from the growth arc of the character. Portal/Isekai Tag: Portals are a major part of this book, but, aside from the prologue where the Viking has just come through a portal, they don't take full effect until Ep. 47. Grimdark Tag and other Triggers: The story gets this tag as well as the content warnings of Graphic Violence, Profanity, Sensitive Content, and Sexual Content because this story is grim and dark; people die in brutal, terrible ways, people swear, stuff happens to people of a sensitive nature, and sometimes people have sex or are in sexual situations. If you are one who is triggered by such things, I implore you to find a different  story to read. RR is vast with many options. Nothing inhumane in my writing is glorified. But this is my art and I will not compromise. I believe in the triumph of the human spirit over evil, and the only way to write such an ethos is to face the evil head on, for in the darkest night, deep in the cave, the brightest light will be the flicker of a little flame.
