Synopsis
"Fairies and fey are creatures of the dark! Their actions are nonsensical, harmful, corrupted and irrational! We, the Church of the Sun, are the bulwark defending you honest folk from their dangerous ways! Walk in the light, and you shall be saved!" - High Inquisitor Brenainn.
Such is the way of this world. Light and darkness, day and night. Cursed be the ones who find rest in the shade or are soothed by twilight.
Elisabetta den Egelhoch has been sold by her family to the church, and must journey from her childhood home to the Monastery of the Sun, though many dangers may lurk on the way from here to there. Perhaps the moon shall prove a more reliable guide than the sun? And maybe snakes and axes are better companions for the road than knights in shining armour?
