Book one:Following a catastrophic injury and treatment on an alien medical station, Henry Martinez finds himself re-assigned from the Human Navy to the trauma center he had been treated at a year earlier. He now must to adjust to the realities of life when living as the only human amongst millions of aliens. Along the way, he must navigate hostile aliens, a blossoming romance, the fickle politics of the galactic union, and the ghosts of his past.Book Two: Henry Martinez has done a decent job of adjusting to life as the only Human amidst millions of aliens; such a wonderful job he has began to consider Draun more of his home than he did the ruins of Los Angelas year earlier.  But life is not filled with fair winds, and following seas. His mentor has taken more of a liking to him than she likely should, who he has to try and let down gently enough to avoid disaster.  Ontop of that issue Martinez has to do something he never once thought he would—-meet the parents of his alien girlfriend.  Lysa’s mother Nelya, is kind, caring and has the patience of a saint. Sure she seems a bit to eager to for Martinez and Lysa to have kids, but what Mother does not want to be a grandmother.  Lysa’s father, Kyroll is a whole other story. He is a rough and trouble former special forces member, who hates anyone not Aviex—to include Martinez.  Hopefully Martinez can manage to convince Kyroll to move past the dark past that plagues both him and the Aviex species as a whole for the sake of his daughters happiness.
