Hubert lives in a fantastical world where chaos is king and logic is poison. In this place he has no grand purpose, for how can one aspire toward a lofty goal when they are fighting for their survival? Each path in this blighted man's life is a carefully devised prank by some greater they-god - ... or, ahh, ... that is what he chooses to believe, at least. We know the harsh truth, as does his only friend: he was simply born unlucky. This most recent turn of fate has sent him on a humble quest with a lifelong companion that will spiral wildly out of control.
